GARDEN CROSSING - Boulder, Colorado
Garden Crossing is a 55 unit development that was part of the Holiday Drive-In redevelopment endeavor in North Boulder. There are 5 Separate building types: 3, 4, & 5-plex townhouses, and 2 styles of single family carriage units. The units were designed to entice first time professional home buyers, with 35% of the units remaining permanently affordable. All units were designed to robust green building standards and could accommodate solar panels a the discretion of the homeowners. This project received a prestigious “Gold Nugget” Grand Award from the pacific Coast Builder’s Conference in 2005 for best affordable housing. Christopher was employed at DTJ Design, Inc. when collaborating on this project, and assisted with the design and construction documentation for the project.
